Opportunities for sport coaching students at new Cricket Academy

Hailsham Community College has opened a new Cricket Academy which will provide opportunites for talented young cricketers.

The new academy has also given University of Brighton Sport Coaching BSc(Hons) students, Jamie Mann and Jack Hyde, a coaching opportunity with specialist input from SkillzCricket Academy at their indoor school.

Jamie and Jack will be coaching the academy players over the next four months alongside Jamie Bristow and Tim Hambridge from Skillz who are both University of Brighton graduates.

The new academy will provide hands-on cricket coaching experience for future sport coaching students alongside our current academy and school-based participation sessions they can experience with Skillz.
