Team GB’s High Altitude Training Camp
Gareth Turner, PhD student and physiologist with the British Athletics endurance and altitude training programme finds himself in both The Guardian and The Independent this month.
Gareth studied on both the Sport and Exercise Science BSc and Applied Exercise Physiology MSc at the School of Sport and Service Management in Eastbourne before returning to embark on his PhD.
Alongside his studies Gareth’s role with British Athletes has taken him to Kenya’s Rift Valley where altitude training is aiming to help our atheletes win more medals at major championships. See the training camp in pictures.
