Accreditation success for Journalism

The National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ), the professional body for journalism, visited the School of Sport and Service Management on 19 May to undertake a review of our accreditation.

We’re delighted to announce that Sport Journalism BA(Hons) was awarded full accreditation for two years, the maximum possible.

New course Travel Journalism BA(Hons) which is due to start in September 2014, was awarded NCTJ accreditation for one year, the maximum possible for a new course.

These accreditations continue the school’s 100% success rate is gaining, and holding, all relevant external statutory or professional body accreditations for our undergraduate courses.
