  • Student, Charlotte Evans, has helped secure Britain’s first ever Winter Paralympic gold medal. Charlotte, who is studying sport and exercise science, is guide to blind skier Kelly Gallagher and the pair have won the visually impaired super-G in Sochi.   • Graduates Karl Stevenson (pictured) and Ash Willmott fought off a field of 65 national applicants to secure positions at the university’s Sport and Exercise Science Consultancy Unit.
  • 2013 graduate Louise King will be presenting her dissertation project at the Biomechanics and Medicine in Swimming Conference at the Australian Institute of Sport in April.

  • Recent graduate Paula Ellison has just secured a fully funded PhD Studentship at the University of East Anglia to study the use of exercise to aid Multiple Sclerosis patients.
  • 12 of our current students have submitted abstracts to the British Association of Sport and Exercise Science Student Conference, presenting their dissertation studies at the national conference.
