Consultancy in the labs

Our sport and exercise science laboratories have been extremely busy over the recent months and not just with students. The laboratories have also been used for consultation sessions:

  • FayeParatriatholon world title holder, Faye McClelland (pictured) visited the labs as part of her preparation for the world triathlon championships and Rio. Graduate Faye recently received an honary graduate from the University of Brighton for her outstanding sporting achievements and support of the university
  • Joe Townsend visited the labs for some handcycling support work for the Rio triathlon – you can read more about Joe here
  • Paul Sampson, ex professional Rugby player, in preparation for a 1500 mile bike ride from Bradford to Gibraltar to raise funds for Marie Curie.
  • Graduate Yvette also made a reurn to the labs as part of her preparation for Ironman Taiwan.

These visits are a testament to the great sport and exercise science laboratories and the expertise available at the School of Sport and Service Management. Read more about our facilities.
