WSET Awards

Students from the International Hospitality Management BA(Hons) recently added to their qualifications by taking a selection of Wine And Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Awards.

Over the course of two weekends students from all levels of the BA course studied for and took WSET Level 1 award in Wines, Level 1 in Wine Service and Level 1 in Spirits.

The courses were run by our partner Enjoy Discovering Wine who were the winners of the WSET Educator of the Year award in 2013 .

Other levels of the WSET courses will be available to students throughout the academic year to further their knowledge in wines and spirits. Students can study up to level 4 which would see them awarded with a Diploma in Wines and Spirits.

These renowned professional qualifications are a great addition to a CV and are well received by employers. They also give students an advantage when seeking placement opportunities.
