This week, we have been set with the task of creating a circuit, using the ideas we came across last week but within the programme Fritzing. As I have already covered what Fritzing is in last week’s post I will only briefly cover what Fritzing is. Fritzing is a software which allows you to create your own virtual circuits.
Now that I am somewhat familiar with how to use Fritzing I have decided to create a new circuit for this task , which includes an Arduino (See post for week 10) and multiple LEDs. This circuit allows the user to control the brightness of the LEDs using the Arduino and also gives the user the ability to turn it on or off using the button in the centre. Here is a picture below:
A feature I did not realise until now that is present in Fritzing, is the option to visualise your circuits as a schematic. This is an incredibly useful tool to have on hand. An example of this is the circuit above as a schematic.
