This was my second visit to the site and on this day i observed scaffolding being put up and seen the wall which had been built over the few weeks i hadn’t been back. I could see that the project was going along well. The scaffolding was being put up to allow access to 2nd floor and 3rd.
27/02/2022 – First visit
This is the first visit as such i did, i was able to use a site on which i have been working on with my uncle so i could get more in depth pictures of the process. On this visit me and my uncle were setting up steel bars to set out a guide line for the extension.
I Have also included my first look at the site which is by HUUK architects. This was my first glance. I liked the look of the building already and could see the potential as its a great piece of land, in a great area of Brighton and is excluded and kept away. Has alot of privacy as its up a long drive way.
Overview
The project I will be basing my formative assessment on is a property in Brighton, Harrington road, BN1 6RE. It is located near Preston Park and Preston Park station and is a 5 minute walk approximately from the property. A private drive leads you up to the property giving you a sense of privacy and leads to a fairly large sized cottage with traditional features and a great 2-level garden with a allotment area for growing vegetables etc. This is a property which my uncle has taken on and is a two storey side extension, internal alterations and landscaping.
