Logo: initial

I created this as the initial logo for Ecosew. I thought the boldness and statement of the font was strong and represented the strength and performance of the clothing. I really like the patch work element that I added to each letter, I  though it was a subtle way to show that each garment is upcycled as well as portraying that upcycling and mending would be a key element to Ecosew. I was actually quite happy with it until I began to see the logo as kitschy rather than utilitarian when it was reproduced in a different colour format.
