The Birth of Street Art

Looking closer Into the history of modern graffiti art I realized In its original form they were making  work based on Anti conformity. Ideals away from the status quo.

In the Years where the industrial revolution had built skyscrapers and cities with each block having a names and numbers, street art halted value in society lessening its cultural impact giving it a negative connotation.  The people who have to come out to express what they need to say now to do  in the dark,  but that grit created value to the work.  People were impressed by it and eventually put into exhibitions Jean baskett  revolutionized how a widespread audience could look at graffiti/street art.  Now wanting to break free from what they had been classed as in fact they didn’t even care, Making it for themselves and  honest to them, but this sparked a generation of new street art that let society see it as worth not worthless.

Moving forward Ill look at how modern contemporary art has been engulfed by street arts vibrancy.
