When designing activities involving interactive narratives, the hard part is finding a way to plot out the branches of the story, typically involving a lot of post-it notes and a large desk.
This evening I discovered (thanks to Terence Eden) a couple of tools which look like they solve this problem:
This blog post, describing the process of writing a choose-your-own adventure game on Twitter, described the use of InkleWriter to help plan the story choices and view the map to plot the shape of the story.

Twitter is only one delivery platform of course. Craig Wakefield, at the University of Brighton, has also been working in this area using Aurasma to create an interface to play the adventure scenario.
