Rave culture
I wanted to touch apon this subculture because I was interested in the neon colours and casual clubbing style that was seen. Rave culture was massive in the 50s and 60s and fuelled by drugs such as MDMA. In particular I liked the neon clothes that glow in the dark night club lights. This shows how people were do dedicated to raving they’d by clothes that would only shine in that specific light. I was also drawn to this subculture because it was created in London England so it was so close to home for me and I find it fascinating what happened in underground secret clubs in London.
