This will be the final poster.

The main motive of the poster was to show the concept to people through visual aids. The reason for using visual aids is that people hardly have time to read huge texts to understand the concept or product.

The three nude women in the poster have taken from the poster of a shoes brand, ‘Stuart Weitzman.’ There are many reasons for choosing this; first, it shows closeness and love, which is the prime aim of the campaign is to pass on the love and to help those are in need. Second, the relevance of taking this part is to show that we are targeting women and the product is for women only. Thirds, women are nude wearing the scarves only, which means scarves will be the only focus where the people will easily able to identify that we are trying to sell scarves. Now, the background of the poser has taken from the painting (The coming storm) of an American artist, Will Cotton. I wanted to use background related to love goddess, but choosing this painting has its relevance. The colors used in the painting are fluorescent and light, which usually depicts summer.

So, this further shows that the scarves we are selling, women can wear them in summer season as well, which also revealed from the nude women wearing only scarves.  Now, Famous brand Vogue has a similar poster, where a half nude female is wearing a scarf. However, it is not the viable poster because the women also wear sunglasses, which can confuse consumers about the product that the company wants to sell.

Target and Marketing of the scarves

We are majorly targeting women between the age of 20 -35 based in UK (but men are welcome as well, scarf is a quite genderless fashion item that anyone can use it), who are trendy, have some amount of disposable income that they wish to spend to help those people in need, those who use social media platforms and shop online.

The scarves will be available online for sale. We will also have a Facebook page for the campaign that will able to generate more traffic to the website, some blog posts and twitter tweets that can attract people to try summer scarfs and some Instagram pictures of our collection will also be used to promote and generate traffic to our website.

 This will be the website where people can click on particular item and able to read proper description about the syrup, fabric, dimensions, etc. They can select items for them and can also choose an option to gift item. After paying for the item, they can ask to embroider whatever quotation they want.

Not everyone shop online, so we will also target consumers who do not shop online. For this, we can partner with the student union in university for successful completion campaign. On the other hand, we will also partner the scarf retailers to sell our products as a social cause.

The overall budget for the campaign is as follows (approx.):

  • The embroidery machine £800
  • Website development £1000
  • Scarves per 500 pieces £2000
  • Miscellaneous stationaries £500
  • Marketing material like posters and flyers £200
  • Advertising the product over sick media £500
  • Some miscellaneous expenses will be roughly estimated as £2000

So the approximate budget is around £7000.

The Birth of Venus (in Italian: Nascita di Venere) is a 1486 painting by Sandro Botticelli.

Along with the Bespoke scarves, you can also try out special edition innovative items love goddess pattern scarves. The love goddess edition that include prints like Venus, Aphrodite, Eros and so on. This means the love and power we have, we can pass to those people who needed it most, which again an indirect cause of this campaign where we are helping the people in need by providing them resources they require.

The product Bespoke carves where customers can choose and order any scarf of their choice from the website. Once they make payment, they can ask to embroider a quotation, a word, or even their name on the scarf.
