The university information session is an ambassador delivered session that ensures students learn some of the key information about university.
Working alongside the campus tour if gives the ambassador a chance to explain to students the key terminology around university as well as giving them a real insight into the life of a student and what studying at University is like.
The session can change depending on the year group and the number of previous visits the school has been on. Your co-ordinator will direct you the activity you will be delivering.
Year 7 & 8
This is a voting session delivered through turning point. The session consist of a number of questions which the students vote on. After each slide the ambassador delivering will be able to talk around the important information. This will need to be run through the Laptop, which your co-ordinator can help set up. Year 9
In year 9 we start to think more about pathways. Its a session that hopefully gets the student to start thinking about where education can lead. The careers pathway session can be found here
