Today there was a calligraphy workshop. We used ink and a variety of different sized brushes to do this. I enjoyed playing around with text as calligraphy is something that has always interested me. I started off by just making singular letters, symbols and numbers to play around with the ink and brushes. Then I moved onto words, quotes and song lyrics. I tried to use different fonts to represent certain words and phrases. I then played around with adding images to the text which I like the outcome of. I also played around with using paint as well as ink, which I found was easier to control as it has a thicker consistency.
