After a tutorial discussing my project, I have realised that I need to focus more on one location rather than multiple. I have got to a point with my sketches and drawings where I’m not sure what to do or how to develop further as my focal point is so broad. So, I have decided to focus on one country or place and look on a deeper level at the culture and environment within it. I think I will choose a place which I have been to so that I can capture my own experience there as well as my research. I still plan to use the same processes, such as lino printing, and I still want to create some sort of book, whether that is a graphic novel or something else. I found this tutorial really helpful as it has helped me to understand what I need to focus more on and I now feel more confident with the process of my project.
