I created some pieces for the set of my animation. I used pieces of cardboard that I had left 0ver and painted them to create the walls of inside the house. I also painted a piece for the sky to use in the scenes to show the storm. I then made a smaller house for the exterior scenes which I placed on some paper that I painted green for the grass. I also scrunched up some of the green paper into balls to use as bushes. I also played around with lighting in the images of the house as I want the animation to have a dark tone to emphasise the story. Overall, this is a very simple set but I want the main focus to be on the animation itself and I feel I don’t need a highly detailed set to capture this story.
