For each of my animations I have drawn my 2-D image which will act as the trigger for the animation. I wanted to keep the images fairly simple so that they can be easily recognised in the Artivive app and run smoothly. When I put these images onto the greeting cards I may add some small background details, for example I’m thinking of having a tree branch for the bird to be standing on. These background details wont be part of the animation but will an extra visual component to the cards. I am really happy with how each of these images turned out because they are exactly what I had in mind when I started to plan my images. With the bird image I added in some details with a white pen to add more definition to the bird which I think has added a nice effect. I also really like the brickwork I did for the house. I wanted it to look quite old and dated, linking to the text, so I added in some different tones within the bricks as well as shadows and dark areas.
