Turnitin have released a new feature which enables you to highlight text in different colours – something that has been asked for during the training sessions.
When you go into GradeMark and highlight some text, click on the highlighted text – which is how you used to add a comment to selected text rather than to a single place – and you now get the option to choose in which colour you want the selected text to be highlighted.
You could use this function for different markers – with moderators or externals always using a different colour – or for different categories of feedback comment – such as presentation etc.
I have been working in the Educational Technology field within Higher Education for eleven years. A big part of my job is finding new and innovative ways of integrating technology into current teaching and learning methodology.
