Celebrating 20 Years of Youth Work

The University of Brighton is celebrating 20 years of providing Youth Work courses in 2019 by holding a special anniversary event:

Thursday 13 June 2019
6pm to 8.30pm

The Hive
University of Brighton, Falmer campus

The event will be hosted by past and present youth and community work route leaders, who will be joined by our Vice Chancellor, current and former heads of the School of Education, and University of Brighton colleagues.

We are also delighted to welcome Leigh Middleton, CEO of the National Youth Agency as our guest speaker.

Welcome drink and nibbles provided with an opportunity to purchase drinks and food at our bar. You’ll also be able to pick up free University of Brighton goodies at our alumni stand.

If you are currently studying with us or are a graduate from one of the following we would love to see you:

  • Working with Children and Young People BA(Hons)
  • Working with Young People FdA
  • Working with Young People and Young People’s Services FdA
  • Youth and Community DipHE
  • Youth Work FdA
  • Youth Work BA(Hons)

The event is also open to staff, old and new, with a connection to our youth work courses.
