Students as Researchers Conference

DSC_0425This annual conference unites students from all three years of the Education BA course. It offers a unique opportunity to share and celebrate student-led enquiry and research and provide an occasion to acknowledge the hard work everyone has put into their studies.

Students in years one and two of their course will be able to learn from those soon to grDSC_0391aduate; those in their final year will sharing the knowledge they have gained.

The conference includes round table discussions, placement presentations and a keynote speaker. It also provides an opportunity to congratulate the successes of past and present students.

The 2013 conference was opened by Holly Taylor who graduated from the Education BA (Hons) degree in 2012 with a 1st class Honours degree. Holly continued her studies with us on the PGCE Primary programme; her keynote speech was drawn from her dissertation ‘Exploring the Constructions of Men in Early Years Childhood Education’.
