Data policy

We are requesting your data in order to understand how our conference publication plans can best respond to the needs of the academic community. None of these details are processed without your consent, taken at the time the feedback is made. IP addresses are not collected. The submitted, data is held within our digital system and accessed by staff within the University of Brighton’s School of Architecture, Technology and Engineering team. It will not be transferred outside the team but broad analyses taken from it will be used to help organisers with decisions as to a conference publication. We will retain your data only until your feedback has been analysed. It will then be deleted. The university allows data subjects to exercise their rights under data protection legislation, this includes your right to subject access

If you have any questions or concerns about your data please contact dataprotection@brighton.ac.uk, if we are not able to resolve the issue to your satisfaction, you have the right to apply to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). They can be contacted at ico.org.uk/. There is no statutory or contractual requirement to provide your personal data to us, we are processing it with your consent, in order to improve the services we provide.
