City Campus communal PGR Study Spaces

The two PGR communal study spaces on City Campus – Grand Parade 155 and Edward Street 102 – are now open for use.

As with all University spaces, we have been obliged to make some changes to ensure social distancing and good hygiene practices. These are outlined below:

The maximum occupancy of each room has been reduced

ES102: 13

GP155: 18

The number of computers and desks have also been reduced.

ES102: 13 desks including 4 PCs

GP155: 14 desks including 2 Macs

Cleaning stations have been added to each room.

The buildings are open until 20:30 Monday-Friday. They are currently closed at weekends.

We have set up a booking system for anyone wishing to come in and use either room. This is in the form of a spreadsheet, accessible below. There is a floor plan and each work station can be booked for the day by simply putting your name down by the relevant space and day. We are obliged to do this by the day – rather than by the hour or half day – as we don’t have the facility to ensure that workspaces are cleaned between use during the day.
