Kick-start your writing for the new year…

NO SUCH THING AS A FREE LUNCH…

But there is such a thing as a free donut!

(Mmm… donuts…)

RESEARCH WRITING GROUP DROP-IN WORKSHOP

2.00 – 4.30 pm, every Wednesday from 11 January to 5 April inclusive

11-25 January, Room 308 Watts, Moulsecoomb

1 February – 5 April, Room 312 or 309 Watts, Moulsecoomb

(coming to FALMER April – July)

  • 2 ½ hours to focus on your research writing in a supportive environment
  • Bring what you want to work on (paper, thesis, chapter, funding application, book proposal etc) and a laptop/pen & paper
  • Be prepared to write and share

Come as often as you want – no need to sign up for every date – but please email to let the facilitator know you’re coming.*

You will be guided to work in 30-minute chunks with 5-15 min breaks. This format is based on the Pomodoro™ technique, which is easy to use and improves productivity.

Facilitators from the Centre for Research and Development (Arts and Humanities) will be there to inspire and support participants.

All academics and doctoral students from the University of Brighton welcome. Donuts provided (did we say that already?) – just bring a drink.

*Email artscrd@brighton.ac.uk to book your place.
