With this workshop, we were encouraged to do various random mark makings that would later be used as aspects of our work.
After this, we were given a series of instructions from creating a landscape to adding plants and a cube. We later learned that although it was not a perfect science we were creating a work that was representative of ourselves. This analysis is called Kokology and its meant to show a representation of one’s self through the sizes, shapes and colours used.
Although I don’t feel the analysis of my work was particularly reflective of myself the study itself was very interesting and many people did feel that their work was representative of themselves.
