Today was even earlier. We met up at 8:00 at Cockroft to travel Chichester College, but luckily we all got a coffee. No late comer and journey to Chichester went smoothly.
We arrived at Chichester at around 10:00 and had short briefing. Our group firstly met up at the studio to see the model work. The scale 1:5 was much bigger than I imagined even we are designing the size of shipping container. The model working seemed progressing very well, they were waiting for AT team’s further design. So I went to computer room to finalize my bathroom design.
On that day I decided the bathroom entrance location and handed the dimension to Chichester students for the further modelling work. I really struggled the layout of the bathroom, thus I needed to minimize the room size as small as possible considering use of disable people and the descent comfort level. I could not decide on this day.
I also worked on detailing of the deck opening. The glass door have to sit on the container frame to hold the weight. In this case the deck needs to sit outside if the frame. It will need another beam nailed to the frame to hold the weight of the decking.
At the end of the day we all gathered up at the studio and saw the model.
It was good oppotunaty to see how other school is going.
