My Personal Studio Space
Living in a small flat in Hove, there is little space to work, and set up a permanent studio space. This situation is exacerbated by having a housemate in a similar situation.
I made the choice to set up my studio space, in the kitchen/diner, in order to create a separation between work and leisure. Allowing me to keep my bedroom as a place to decompress after a day of work, instead of work pressing in on me when I am relaxing.
Supply Chains
Our first task, was to investigate the supply chain of a product/material we found interesting.
I looked into the supply chain of a Clay Roof Tile. Starting as a lump of clay in the ground, through being manufactured, to being removed from a building and disposed of in a dump.
