Modern Queer Heroes, as funded by CTSG, is part of Brighton’s Film Pride film festival this year. Kate Jessop was interviewed about the themes and structure of the film, life in film festivals and how animation is booming in Covid times. It’s all online, and free to watch here.

Kate continues to take her film around the world  in September – from screening in Turkey to Online watch-along and chat, with Leeds Animation Workshop at Scalarma. 

Recently Modern Queer Heroes was nominated for a Human Rights film award in Kosovo and was featured on panels at The World’s Largest Queer Comic Con ‘Flame Con’ in New York curated by Asifa.
