Crossing Cultures is a series of workshops and talks which aims to broaden the scope of the curriculum to reflect a diverse culture, as an inclusive approach that contributes to internationalise the curriculum within the art school. This is the first in the series this year where creative practitioners will present their practice. Chris Arran will show his Illustration practice and talk about his experience of being an artist. Ceren Ozpinar will talk about her own art historical research in relation to feminist art and women’s art in a non-European context as well as reflecting on her experience of being an immigrant in Britain. Lisa Redlinkski will persent the “visibility for black artist” reading list and we will finish with a panel discussion.
