The Conserving the Archive blog was started by Design Archives’ Preservation and Digital Resources Coordinator Sirpa Kutilainen in January 2011 to document a Design Archives collaborative project with the archive and exhibition of MacDonald ‘Max’ Gill. The blog is now inactive, but continues to serve as a time capsule of over ten years of entries about the Design Archives’ conservation and preservation matters.
