Local comics creator and drama podcaster Tom McNally has an exhibition this week at Colonnade 2 Gallery, Colonnade House, Worthing. Prints on display see the artist reduce pop culture children’s TV and comics characters into blown-up pixel-based images that comment on screen based culture and the low-res nature of older entertainment formats.
The exhibtion ‘Icons’, featuring art inspired by such characters as Bagpuss, Zippy, and Robot Archie runs until Sunday August 31st. Please note, if you would like to buy cards (£3), zines (£5) or prints (£35) by the artist on site, the gallery only takes cash…
More info at the gallery website, and the exhibition can be found at Colonnade House, 47 Warwick Street, Worthing, West Sussex BN11 3DH – open between 10am and 5pm
