Comics REG member Dr. Louisa Buck is exhibiting recent drawings at the University’s Dorset Place Gallery, next door to the Edward Street building.

Louisa is a renowned artist who renders large intricate works in the style of Renaissance drawings, and as a researcher has used her practice as part of her Doctoral Research into the use of Sisyphus as a metaphor in political cartoons. For her post-doctoral research she is putting Sisyphus ‘on the couch’ to analyse reinterpreation of this classical figure has occurred in different eras.
The exhibition in Dorset Place is a rare opportunity to see a solo exhibition of Louisa’s large, beautiful and very detailed artworks, and shouldn’t be missed!
