The guest at the next get together of Cartoon County on March 31st is Luobai, a PhD student who has been working on a long form graphic novel – Anxiety is a Red Monkey – as the creative aspect of her Doctoral work at London College of Communication.

Last month she exhibited art from this project at the University of the Arts London campus in Holborn, and has published two chapters from the graphic novel as individual comics. Her work mixes elements of Graphic Medicine and 1970s Children’s Books, and will be chatting to Alex Fitch about the various aspects that make up her research and artistic practice.
