On Friday 14th March, the University of Brighton is hosting its annual FRAMPS event; a mini festival celebrating animation and other time-based media production at the University. This morning event is a mixture of academics presenting their work, advice for students on developing their practice, and a showcase of recent student work.
Guests talking at this year’s FRAMPS (FRAMes Per Second) include Animation lecturers Michael Chidubem (who also curated the event) and Alex Fitch, Games Art and Design lecturer Ashad Martin, professional animators Ceri Barnes (Flock London) and Oliver Smyth, and film-maker Mehtab Brar.
This event will include screenings of University of Brighton student animations, a workshop on correct referencing for University work, and a panel discussion on the use of AI in the creative industries.
FRAMPS takes place at Edward Street Building, 154-155 Edward St, Room 105, Brighton BN2 0JG on Friday 14th March from 11am to 2pm
