Course overview
This part-time course is for healthcare professionals with a BSc / BSc (Hons) degree in any subject who want to take clinical modules focused on their chosen speciality.
Entry requirements
Course applicants are normally expected to:
- Be a graduate with at least 300 credits, 60 of which must be at level 6
- Have a minimum of one year of post-qualified experience
- Hold a current registration with a Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Body
- Be employed in the UK and working a minimum of 2 days per week in a relevant clinical practice area (but module-specific rules apply) supported by a designated clinical practitioner providing supervision and assessment
Course structure
The course requires a minimum of 60 credits of clinical modules within a chosen clinical pathway, most of which must be taken at Level 7. Therefore, all 60 credits worth of modules are studied at Level 7, or one module (20 credits) can be taken at Level 6 with the remaining (40 credits) at Level 7.
