Hastings

For the Hastings trip we were given the task of taking photographs for our trend boards. along with my own previously wanted to focus on really trying to capture images of mediocre yet interesting pieces and things that followed the colour palette of my brand. Whilst exploring the many vintage and unique shops in the old town i tried to capture different designs and fabrics as well as items that I found romanticised objects such as the sofa or light that had almost and architectural design to them. there was numerous pleases that showcased this so i was able to get enough photos to create a mood board with. This trip was very useful as it allowed me to source my own photography and yet again build upon my brand. it also allowed me to explore a new town which had a very charming aesthetic to it. i also wanted to focus on jewellery and photographed necklaces with leaves on them as you can see above,
The trip as a whole was very useful and interesting. it allowed me to focus on more of what my brand identity looks like and forced me to create an image in a different town. these will now be added to my sketchbook, where I will focus on integrating it into my brand.
