STYLING BY CHANCE

WEEK 3

within this week we discovered and experimented with the idea of styling by chance, whilst also taking heavy inspiration and artistic direction from the famous photographer Tim walker. Whose work creates a sense of motion, depth, clutter and much more. We were assigned with the task of using our own prices but to mix within our groups created characters and concepts. Using makeup and props and the use of bold colours and shapes. We followed the brief which outlined the creation of a photoshoot driven with a vogue magazine aesthetic.
I extremely enjoyed this task as we all took role Alisa being the producer and photographer and me and the three other being models and stylists in our own right. We embodies different characters and concepts yet still fit as an orchestral three. We used prop work within our shoot to add to the creativity and link it to Tim walker as he uses a lot of prop work within his own images. I was very pleased with the outcome and it helped shaped my thinking towards styling and photography as it was as if everyone was in unison. The images came out perfect and in general it taught me the colour schemes and prop work that I will want to use within my own shoot.
