FINAL OUTCOME

In terms of my final outcome i have learnt and grown a lot from studying this module. i beleive this as it has allowed me to see how useful sustainability is and how we as a society should pump much more energy into it as not only does it make the wearer feel good but also makes the ones producing the movement so much more passionate about what they are aiming to achieve. It has also allowed me to create and experience so many kind and generous acts of kindness which allowed me to grow as a person and move my opinion more on the topic of sustainability. The use of the cameras and the way we were taught how to use them i think will help me later on in my creative path as it has allowed me to experience and gain skills on something that I will definitely use in later life. The fact that i also saw first account how much we as a society are wasting also taught me a lot from this module as well as allowing me to travel to places such as Southwick to discover the industrial part Brighton which i aimed to use a location shoot but ultimately taught me that some things just aren’t meant to be. I learnt that sustainability is all around us it is in the clothes we wear its on the road it is on walls the materials are surrounding us as we walk. I believe and one thing that sustainability has taught me is that in order to utilise these properties and valuable resources we as a society need to be more open to creating and making new things from used parts, fabrics or even just alter them to style in a new way and that way grow as a fashionable nation further. This module also opened my eyes as to how spontaneous and unique you can become with styling and how it can be captured in such a poetic way. To allow us to communicate through a lens and change the perspectives of many for the greater good of fashion and the world as we know it. I enjoyed being able to create a concept and run with it during this module as i love creating things from scratch and things that are not usually the norm. Although there was the challenge of learning how to use the functions of the camera and finding a way to sew the rubber together and just make the project come together as a whole. I believe that I have learnt a new plethora of skills whilst executing this module and I look forward to taking this further within my creative future.
