Within this work shop we were taken by Chris through the basics of manual camera controls and techniques, learning how to use ISO, Aperture and Shutter speed. This allowed me to challenge myself as I have never really worked with a digital camera in the past and I never particularly knew the intricacies behind the use of a camera and how it impacted the production of the image. We spent this time to study the different charts and documents that showed us how to capture motion, depth of view and lighting. This allowed me to gain an understanding behind the use of a camera and allowed me to grow my confidence behind the lens. I will look to use a darker setting for my shoots and increase the ISO but decrease the appeture. to get my desired image.
