13 June 2025, 10:00-15:00
G4 Grand Parade, City Campus

Join us for this showcase highlighting the current research undertaken by the PGR community, hosted by the Centre for Design History. This informal event will be an opportunity to share and engage with doctoral research in a welcoming setting and celebrate the end of term.

We are keen to receive contributions on any topic relating to Design History, aligned with the CDH research strands:

  • Transnational design histories
  • Fashion and dress histories
  • Museums, archives, and exhibitions
  • Sustainability
  • Design activism

We welcome proposals for short presentations (up to 10 minutes) loosely related to the above themes. We are also encouraging research poster submissions, this can be instead or in addition to presentations.

This is an excellent opportunity to introduce peers and staff to doctoral research happening across the university, present in progress work, exchange insights or trial a paper for an upcoming conference in a friendly and supportive environment. There will be the chance to socialize over coffee and lunch (provided) throughout the day.
