Charleston: the challenge of injecting change while protecting charm

Director and Chief Executive, Nathaniel Hepburn addresses the challenges of bringing change to a much-loved cultural organisation, and the journey that the staff, stakeholders and audiences are taking as Charleston moves from a seasonal, “pilgrimage site” for cultural tourists and Bloomsbury fans, to an all year-round contemporary cultural centre for the region.

Programmed as part of the Museum, Archives and Exhibitions research strand of the University of Brighton’s Centre for Design History.

All welcome.
