Beepurple launch new grant fund to boost Startup Hive 24 ventures
Beepurple, the student enterprise team, supported by the Higher Education Innovation Fund, has launched a new grant fund exclusively open to students and graduates (from the Class of 2023 or more recently) who registered for, or attended, the recent StartUp Hive 2024 summer course.
The Grant is intended to enable these students and graduates to accelerate the development of their startup and would benefit from receiving a grant between £450 and £750.
The Grant can be used to pay towards new product development, new technology within the business (e.g. specialist equipment, web development or software), intellectual property protection or new marketing materials/activities, among other things.
Deadline
All eligible course registrees have until Monday 8 July 10 am to submit their applications according to the guidance, including a completed business model canvas and an indication of their goals over the next six months.
Clare Griffiths and Helen Carley are really looking forward to seeing how the great freelance, creative practice and startup founders that developed their ideas on the summer course can use this generous funding pot to fast track their ideas to launch.
And of course, they will offer them continuing support in the future as they develop and grow as they work for themselves.
