Looking to make money while at Uni?

beepurple, your Student Enterprise team, lead you from your idea to reality in a  three-part workshop series for any student planning to launch a sidehustle or become a freelancer

There are plenty of ways you can earn extra cash while you’re at university apart from working in retail or a pub. You can take a skill, hobby or something you’re passionate about, and turn it into a cash-generating side hustle to run alongside your studies.

Over three sessions, we will offer you expert advice and equip you with valuable skills to rapidly launch a successful sidehustle that can generate some extra money while you study. Who knows, it might even evolve into a more formal business in the future!

The series is relevant to everyone!

This course will be valuable for you if you are planning to launch a sidehustle, become a freelancer, start a brand or create an online shop – no matter what subject you are studying.

What idea could you bring along to develop?

Perhaps you could set up as a personal trainer while studying on a sports-related degree? Or maybe you could earn money from freelancing as a CAD drawer, graphic designer or videographer? If you are studying creative writing or journalism, maybe you could explore becoming a freelance wordsmith or content creator. Or if you are a product designer, artist, or maker, you might have a product you could sell online?

Whether you’ve already started your sidehustle or are still at the ideas stage, there’s plenty of value in attending this workshop series:

Workshop 1: How to get clear on your idea and make a launch plan

Michelle Allen, business mindset coach and founder of Infinite Upstart

Michelle will help you map out an idea you have for a business in this practical workshop. You’ll leave the session with a business outline that condenses all the important parts of your idea onto one page, giving you a simple plan for launch.
