Free business startup course for students and graduates (worth £2500)!

Every June, the beepurple team delivers a practical and engaging startup course called ‘StartUp Hive’, exclusively for our University of Brighton students and graduates.

This year, the four-day course takes place from Monday, 13 June to Thursday, 16 June, on Zoom.

The course is for you if you have an idea for a business, freelance project or community project. You are also welcome to attend if you are thinking about self-employment as a career option but don’t know where to start.

During this insightful and interactive course, you will learn about ideation and ideas validation, communicating your ideas, finding your customers, marketing, selling online, managing your finances and keeping it legal. 

You will also have the chance to meet some of our graduates who have set up their own businesses in the ‘Meet the Founder’ sessions.

The sessions are all bite-sized, delivered in 45 minute chunks. The course design is a mixture of practical workshops, ‘Meet the Founder’ talks, ’Ask Me Anything’ sessions and peer-led learning.
