Connecting the Dots, student event

Connecting the Dots is an event organised and hosted by second-year English and Media students who have been on work placements this term. Students have been working in a variety of roles and industries, including publishing, events management, marketing, and more. 

The event will be a showcase of presentations from each student, reflecting on what we have learnt and the skills we have developed. 

There will also be a panel of industry experts, providing valuable insight into their career fields. Through gaining knowledge on various career paths and CV tips, attendants can improve their own employability.  Refreshments are included, and fun games will be played! 

The event will take place on Monday the 16th of May, in the Checkland building on Falmer campus, starting in room 218 at 10:30am. Staff and students are welcome to attend.
