7 – 13 February is National Student Volunteering Week

Student Volunteering Week is a celebration of student volunteering and its benefits, these include:

  • Improving a student’s wellbeing
  • Developing a student’s employability skills and CV
  • A way to make new connections
  • Positive contributions to wider and local community life

Active Student – the university volunteering service can help you get involved! We work with local community third sector organisations to help you find volunteering placements that are rewarding, safe and supported.

You can find an Active Student rep (Volunteering Project Officer) on each campus:

Kat Saunders – Falmer

Nadia Noble – Eastbourne

Vicki Bailey Ornellas – Moulsecoombe

Vicky Horder – City (Grand Parade)
