Do you want to stand out in a crowd and know what new skills you need to get the perfect job?  Or are you just starting out and want to build new skills? 

If the answer to either question is yes, having a mentor might be right for you.

What’s it all about?

  • Professional mentors volunteer to work with undergraduate and postgraduate students to support you in working towards careers goals and building confidence. 
  • You will meet every 2 weeks over a 4 to 6 month period. 
  • You can connect remotely with your mentor using tools such as facetime, MS Teams, Zoom, Skype or WhatsApp.

Graduate Mentoring

The Graduate mentoring programme aims to support you with your career goals or to help you build confidence. 

Open to students graduating in the summer of 2021.

Identity Match

This programme aims to match students and mentors affiliated by their skin colour, background heritage or a shared experience of being racialised.

The programme is specifically for students who want to be matched with mentors who share the challenges of their lived experiences. Whether you are from the African, Arab, Asian, or the Latin American diaspora, born in the UK or abroad, Identity Mentoring Match is for you.

Momentum

You are eligible to apply for a place on the Momentum programme if you identify you are a mature student, commuter student, a care leaver or estranged student, a man who is from a working-class /low economic background, having a disability, identify as LGBT+ or in need of a confidence boost.
