Ignite your creativity in 2021 with our fresh training line-up

Hello! We trust you are all well and navigating this really tough period. We hope we can help support and champion your talent and help you spot opportunities during this disruptive time.

Whether you are a student or graduate with a startup idea, taking your first steps developing your business or simply wishing to improve your employability, we have put together a carefully curated new programme of immersive training and live panel events for this Spring and Summer term.

Wherever you are working from, you will be able to join all our workshops for free, online via Zoom and share experiences with your peer community.

beepurple FOUNDER STORIES series

To kick off the new season, we have invited three founders of food and drink brands to share their entrepreneurial stories during the pandemic in our panel session: pandemic-proof startups.

You will hear first-hand how the resilience of these entrepreneurs has been repeatedly put to the test, while they have been forced to pivot and pursue new opportunities during the pandemic. They will share their hard learned tips with you.

In February and March, we will also host three, interactive workshops packed with practical tips to help you develop your own business, creative practice or community project.

beepurple START-UP SAVVY series

In make a difference: how to start your own social enterprise, you will learn from Sara Osterholzer, Co-Founder of The Good Business Club, about how it is possible to run your own business while doing good in the world – an essential workshop for any aspiring social entrepreneurs.

beepurple AGILE YOU series

nail your go-to-market pricing strategy, led by the highly skilled Financial Coach, Catherine Pope, will help you navigate the tough challenge of pricing your work accurately, without underselling yourself.

In expert social media tips for startups, you will learn from a high profile social media expert about how to use social media with clear purpose to grow your business: know what you are selling, who your customer is and why they should follow you.

Don’t forget, all our workshops are free to attend, and are open to all students and graduates from the University of Brighton.

Join us to get some real world inspiration from startup leaders and experienced practitioners you can relate to.
