EVENT: Career opportunities working in the community, public and not-for-profit sectors Friday 15 February 2019

Are you interested in having a career that makes a difference in society?

Come along to this not-to-be-missed opportunity to meet and hear from experienced professionals who work within the community across the public and charity sectors.

This event will significantly enhance your understanding of what paid opportunities there are in this diverse field.

We’ve invited four very interesting speakers with a wealth of experience:

  • Frances Duncan CEO, The Clocktower Sanctuary, a local charity which supports homeless young people in Brighton & Hove.
  • Angie Greaney Partnerships Manager for Community Works, a not-for-profit organisation representing the voluntary / charity sector in Brighton and Hove.
  • Richard Jones, Senior Constituency Caseworker to Lloyd Russell-Moyle MP (for Brighton Kemptown, Saltdean and Peacehaven).
  • Sam Zubaidi, Operations & Development Manager for Concordia, a charity that promotes international volunteering abroad and ethical seasonal employment on UK farms.

The event takes place on Friday 15 February 2019 at University of Brighton Falmer campus (Watson lecture theatre W129) from 11am to 12noon.

For more information, contact Zoe Webb, Career Development Adviser at University of Brighton on zw12@brighton.ac.uk or 01273 643584.
