Are you our next artist in residence?

King & McGaw are inviting artists to apply for a six-month residency at our studio workshop in East Sussex.

This exciting opportunity is aimed at art graduates or an emerging artist who would benefit from a free studio space to develop their practice.

The artist will be given space and access to waste materials in King & McGaw’s workshops in Newhaven, East Sussex.  This is where we produce thousands of printed art products each month for museums, galleries and customers across the world. Our workshop is home to state-of-the-art digital giclée and lithographic printing machinery as well as a framing studio. The workspace available will be in the midst of this creative environment.

The successful applicant will have access to professional advice from King & McGaw’s experienced publishing and design teams and the freedom to create and experiment in a supportive environment.

We look forward to welcoming a new artist and ensure that King & McGaw have no commercial agenda as all art produced will remain the property of the resident artist. All we ask is they make use of the space and resources for the best.

To apply please email us examples of your work and a CV.

If you are interested and have any questions please email artistinresidence@kingandmcgaw.com.
